Account Director

We are seeking an experienced Account Director to join our team in New York. You’ll be working on one of our biggest accounts and must know the telecommunications world. We are looking for someone that has a hunger for the job and will enjoy working with the community family.    

    Responsibilities:

    •Serve as integration lead by managing timing, key deliverables and overall process.

    •Determine project action plan (including appropriate delegation, final direction from client, review deliverables such as timelines and estimates prior to being sent to client.)

    •Monitor project status and schedules, ensuring that projects stay on schedule and informing clients of any changes in schedule.

    •Manage regional account teams, oversee the day-to-day responsibilities and ensure that all client expectations and deliverables are met.

    •Financial stewardship of clients’ budgets

    •Overseeing development of creative and briefs (w/ Brand Planning)

    •Bringing additional strategic and business-building ideas and opportunities to the clients.

    •Lead and inspire the account team to be effective, efficient, positive and proactive.

    

Qualifications:    

    •Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent

    •7+ years agency experience in a client management role.

    •Multi-cultural agency experience strongly preferred.

    •Experience in telecommunications industry is a MUST.

    •Bilingual – Spanish and English required.

    •Strong planning, organizational and problem solving skills.

    •Excellent communication and presentation skills are a must.

    •Proven track record of developing good working relationships with clients.

    •Ability to assemble information and present in a thoughtful relevant way that sells ideas.

    •Some travel required.
