Context: In Buenos Aires and throughout Argentina over 5,000 people need a blood donation every day. Unfortunately, now, there are not enough donors to fulfill this need, and awareness of the deficiency is almost non-exisistent.
Insight/Idea: The Government of the City of Buenos Aires wanted to encourage blood donation, making it a more personal and meaningful experience. It’s not just about saving lives; it’s about all the things people can do with the rest of their lives. “You give more than just blood” is an open invitation to realize that when you donate blood, you are actually donating everything that person can achieve after the transfusion.
Why This Case:
Results: The campaign ran in Buenos Aires magazines and newspapers and although the campaign only began in April, we have already seen an increase in blood donations throughout the city.
