PechaKucha Nights

ARTOVATION – Contemporary Art in the Digital Age
The way artists, curators, galleries, museums, and journalists have utilized Internet technology, mobile communication, and social media has created new opportunities for discussion, creativity and expression. This Pecha Kucha hosted six speakers including our José Mollá who will explore how we are experiencing art in the palm of our hands, behind the computer, in public, at art fairs, and in museums.

PechaKucha Nights was devised in Tokyo in February 2003 as an event for young designers to meet, network, and show their work in public. It has turned into a massive celebration, inspiring creatives worldwide. The presentation format is based on a simple idea: 20 slides x 20 seconds each.

Hosted by La Comunidad in partnership and collaboration with The Wolfsonian-FIU Visionaries.
